What the school says...

Arnold Lodge is unique.

Our size enables us to deliver a bespoke education which equips your child with the self-belief, resourcefulness and resilience to deal with, adapt to and succeed in a fast changing world.

We inspire children to develop as individuals and reach their potential within an environment of mutual respect.

Small class sizes ensure a personal relationship with teachers and drive all children to experience celebration of success. This is mirrored by the relationships that parents have with the school.

What the parents say...

We decided to move our son, from his state primary school nearly two years ago as he was not getting the support he needed in a class of 30. We visited Arnold Lodge on an open day as it was our nearest private school and were so impressed that we pulled forward our plans to move him. It is rare to find a small, co-educational, non-selective school in our area. Our son (who was only 8 at the time) was enthusiastic and supported our decision – he too could see its opportunities. We have been delighted with the school – my son's arrival coincided with a new head teacher and although an inevitable number of changes proceeded, these were accompanied by an enthusiastic re-energising. Our son has thrived since he started, both mentally exceeding our expectations and physically from his access to a wide range of sports. He progressed dramatically in his first year. The school’s caring ethos is strong, but not at the expense of education. The children are respectful and confident, and something we particularly like is the frequent contact between older and younger children, which further benefits their social behaviour. The parents are genuinely passionate about the school and strongly support it. The school has now embarked on a senior school programme which sees it delivering A level education – a bonus for us as we believe our son will continue to thrive if he remains at the school.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
