What says..

Unusually and refreshingly, talented musicians can also join fully in sport, with staff going the extra mile and involving themselves in extraordinary organisation to make this happen. What the school says...

Ashville is one of the UK's leading co-educational independent day schools. With outstanding learning provision across all year groups, from Acorns early years to sixth form, and low staff: pupil ratios, we take pride in developing each individual to their full potential, wherever their strengths lie. Founded in 1877, Ashville has a proud past, and an even brighter future, yet our ethos and values remain loyal to our Methodist traditions, where each child is known and nurtured within a caring, safe and supportive environment. Our 70-acre campus is close to the beautiful spa town of Harrogate. ...Read more

Special Education Needs

Ashville has a dedicated Learning Support team, which works closely with teachers to ensure that pupils with a range of specific learning difficulties receive the support they need throughout their time at the School. Teachers receive the most up-to-date guidance to understand the difficulties faced by learners and the right strategies to support them. Where pupils are found to need additional help as they progress, parents are informed and appropriate arrangements, such as specialist support, small group intervention, or exam/test support, are made.
