Since 2022, Warren Honey, who has been teaching in the Midlands for over 30 years, starting as a biology teacher and housemaster at Bromsgrove School before moving to King Henry VIII School (part of the same foundation as Bablake) as head of biology. During his 17 years there, he moved up to deputy head before gaining his first headship at Hydesville Tower School in Walsall, which ‘opened my eyes to the joys of leading a school with younger children’.
His ‘nomadic’ childhood meant he attended schools in Maidenhead, Peterston-super-Ely and Wargrave, completing his secondary education at Judd School in Tonbridge, Kent.
