Since 2014, Mrs Carol Chandler-Thompson BA (in history) and PGCE, both from Exeter (early 40s), formerly head of the Girls’ School, North London Collegiate, Jeju, in the Republic of Korea. Prior to setting up NLCS in South Korea, she spent seven years as head of history and politics at NLCS. Before that, teacher of history and head of PSHE at Haberdashers' Aske’s School for Girls, Elstree.
The move to Korea was not simply in search of a headship or an international move, but enabled her to continue to be part of NLCS with the remit of setting up a school from scratch with a focus on the importance of the quality of teaching.
