What the school says...
Blundells Preparatory School lies in 12 acres of beautiful Devon countryside in close proximity to its senior school. We pride ourseves on the breadth of curriculum and opportunities offered. We are small enough to care for every child as an individual but large enough to provide the facilities and equipment required for a first class education and to compete strongly regionally and nationally.
A wide range of supplementary subjects are taught by specialist teachers, with particular emphasis on Music, Drama and Art. Our Food Technology and Design Technology rooms allow children wonderful creative opportunity. The Sports Department has an enviable reputation of producing good all round sporting pupils. The School also provides an extensive range of after school clubs and activities enjoyed by many.
Our priority is happy, secure and confident children. ...Read more

Married to Sarah, with two children in the school, Mr Southgate has gone down very well with parents, who appreciate the aspirations and pride he has injected...
