What the school says...

Broomlea school is a local authority Nursery/ Primary school for children with complex learning difficulties. Broomlea Nursery caters for the needs of children from age 2 years to 5 years of age. We offer a child centred curriculum based on the National 3-5 curriculum but elaborated to meet our pupils individual needs. The primary school caters for pupils age 5 years to 11 years of age and is organised into an infants department, middle years and upper school. We follow the 5-14 elaborated curriculum and each pupil has an individualised educational programme.

The school forms part of Keppoch Campus which is a purpose built facility. The campus is made up of five establishments and each school operates as a separate establishment but housed in the one building. Broomlea School within Keppoch Campus provides both a discrete highly specialised provision to meet the needs of children with complex learning difficulties while at the same time offers a wider range of both social and educational experiences. The Campus provision promotes the principles of inclusion which we consider to be the most effective means of combatting discriminatory attitudes, creating welcoming communities and achieving a quality education for all.

In Broomlea we aim to offer education of the highest quality to develop each pupil's potential within a happy, stimulating environment to enable him/her to enjoy as fulfilling and independent life as possible as a valued member of the community.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
