Special Education Needs
Carrongrange School is a non-denominational special school, which offers provision to pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties. The school presently has a roll of 150 pupils aged from 10-18 years. The Primary department currently has 13 pupils on the roll, the Secondary 137. The school aims to provide a high quality service where the individual needs of every pupil are met through an appropriate curriculum. Here the pupils have the opportunity to work in first class surroundings with well equipped classrooms, library and sport facilities and we continue to develop state of the art facilities in computer technology.
