Special Education Needs

At City and Islington College we are committed to the principles of inclusive learning. We believe that by recognising, valuing and responding to differences in the ways in which students learn we can improve the quality of learning for everyone. We welcome and encourage students who, though they have achieved the entry requirements, need support in order to access their courses due to a learning difficulty or disability. It is important to note that all students need to apply early in January and those students with significant needs e.g. transport or personal care, are encouraged to make an appointment to see us in the autumn term prior to admission to discuss support issues.
