Since 2016, David Edwards BEd MA (early 50s). The son of an RAF officer, he spent much of his childhood in Wiltshire and for most of his posts he has not strayed far from his roots, with spells at Dauntsey’s and Wycliffe College Prep - then an interval in Kuwait before cutting his teeth as head of Warminster Prep. Bringing that school to an ISI rating of ‘excellent’ in all areas (a feat he has replicated at Colston’s), as well as a masters in educational leadership, made him quite a catch and indeed he is dynamic and engaging, with a natty suit and designer beard.
