Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.
Special Education Needs
The Hearing Impaired Resource Base at Cove School provides access to secondary mainstream provision for statemented pupils. Pupils are fully included in all aspects of school life and are valued members of the school community. There is maximum use of residual hearing, supported by appropriate amplification and careful monitoring of the pupil’s personal hearing aids. There are close links with the audiology departments of the local hospitals. The pupils are supported by a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Specialist Learning Support Assistants. There is provision for both in-class support and withdrawal to the acoustically treated Resource Base. Pupils access the mainstream curriculum and follow a timetable tailored to their individual requirements. Personal use of a radio aid and the provision of the soundfield systems in key classrooms further enhance the acoustic environment for our pupils.
