What The Good Schools Guide says..
As you move up the school, the air of concentration increases but an element of fun still appears to remain on the agenda. Happily, a science class in year 5 were allowed to let out their stick insects, which they had hatched from eggs, showing that they were sophisticates at handling them compared to us, although the enjoyment quotient was probably similar. If you wanted to judge the school purely on academic success you would be lavish in your praise, as they have achieved 12 scholarships in the last two years...
What the school says...
Coworth Flexlands Prep School and Nursery is an Independent School for girls, with a co-ed Nursery and Pre-Prep. Nursery starts at the age of 2 ½ and is fully immersed in school life. Nestled in between the villages of Sunningdale, Windlesham and Chobham, you discover a happy, high achieving school where children are inspired and nurtured. This approach brings out the best in the children and the girls move on to top Senior Schools with many gaining scholarships. The boys head off to local Prep Schools, well prepared.
The school offers the convenience of optional wrap-around care and clubs for busy parents from 7.30am - 6pm and a wide range of on-site holiday activities.
Please do visit us on Open Morning or call for a personal tour. ...Read more

What The Good Schools Guide says
Head
Since September 2018, Nicola Cowell, previously deputy head of teaching and learning at Surbiton High Girls’ Prep. Degree from Oxford Brookes University; BA in primary education. Started teaching in the state sector in Oxford before moving to St George’s School, Cologne, Oakfield Prep in Dulwich and then to Surbiton High.
Entrance
Into the Coworth nursery at 2 1/2, first come, first served, with more joining further up the school, mainly in reception and year 3. Completely non-selective, although a very disruptive child with severe behavioural problems might stretch such a small school too far. Prospective pupils offered a ‘taster session’. Definitely a local school, 'almost all parents come from within 10 miles', some only recently decamped from west London. In the past they kept very quiet as word of mouth - together with a large proportion...

Special Education Needs
Coworth Flexlands recognises that all pupils have individual needs, most of which can be met within the normal environment of the classroom. The special needs department aims to identify all children who need special consideration to support their physical, social, emotional or intellectual development. Some children are offered extra support within the classroom. We do not, however, have the provisions to offer highly specialised and intensive treatment.
