What the school says...

Entry. Early Registration for Nursery places, Early registration and assessment for Pre-Prep and Prep School admissions. Priority given to internal Nursery candidates from the four Eaton Square Nurseries.

Ethos. Eaton Square School is one of the few co-educational day schools in the heart of London offering nursery, pre-preparatory and preparatory education. The School maintains high standards and encourages in every child an enthusiasm for learning, good manners, self-discipline and, in all things, a determination to do their best and realise their potential. All ISI inspections since 2010 have listed the school as Excellent and fully compliant in all respects. The School offers a stretching, challenging approach to learning that emphasises achievement and builds confidence. Great emphasis is placed on experiential learning including ski trips, sailing and camping trips, and residentials in France together with classical tours of Rome and Pompeii.

Academic Life. A combination of subject specialist teachers and class teachers teach a broad and balanced curriculum in preparation for transfer to the senior school at 11+, or alternative day and boarding schools. For those looking to exit at 13+ via the Common Entrance Examinations, the senior school prepares them fully.
ICT is introduced from the age of 3 and it is an integral part of the syllabus. All classrooms are equipped with interactive white boards and data projectors. The School also benefits from an Art and Science block with separate science laboratory and a wonderfully equipped Art, Design and Technology Studio.

Sport & the Arts. Wide range of sports offered, the School has successful teams competing against other London schools. Music is a flourishing department within the School. Instruction in music, art and DT is included for all children from Nursery School upwards. Drama is integrated within the curriculum and each child takes part in at least two public productions every year. The Art and Design room provides an outstanding resource and is equipped with a wide selection of facilities.
Scholarships are won each year to the top boarding and day schools around the country in academic, sporting, musical and artistic fields.
Further information and a prospectus may be obtained from the Registrar.
