Thank the school
Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.
This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.
Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.
Special Education Needs
At Orwell High School we aim to value and listen to every pupil to enable them to discover their potential and help them to achieve it. We believe every child matters and every child's needs are special. Our SEN Team consists of specialist literacy and numeracy teachers and all of our statemented students receive the individual and small group teaching they need. We have a dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants who work closely with SEN pupils in and out of the classroom. In addition we run a number of clubs to support these pupils and their parents - for example a lunchtime and a homework club. Our pupils needs vary, from some needing basic academic support and others needing considerable academic and social support. We work with pupils on the Autistic Spectrum, pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties(dyslexia), dyspraxic pupils and those with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
