It is evident when you first set foot in this small, village school that the children are happy and confident. The other lovely thing is that the staff know all the children's names and nuture them as individuals. My son loves his school and has developed a wonderful taste for learning. He has lots of friends and enjoys an interesting and varied curriculum including forest school. The teaching and support staff are dedicated, kind and enthusiastic. The head is strong, fair and well liked by all. The school has plenty of outdoor space including a playground, sports field, swimming pool and play equipment. After school clubs run daily and include music, dance, art, sports and gardening. For those with younger children, there is a very good pre-school next door, with a baby room and provision for breakfast club. I would not hesitate to recommend Fittleworth school to any parent looking for an idyllic primary school education for their children.
