What says..

Once we had cleared the highly secure, gated reception area to enter the school grounds, the bustle of life at the school immediately greeted us. We heard string and brass instruments sounding out from one of the many lunchtime concerts at the chapel, and saw brightly clad prep pupils at play or through their open classroom windows, merrily chanting foreign words in rote-like fashion. Pupils seem to be busy, happy and oblivious. They are taught in buildings alive with a heritage  dating back to the school's foundation in 1834...

All-through school (for example 3-18 years). - An all-through school covers junior and senior education. It may start at 3 or 4, or later, and continue through to 16 or 18. Some all-through schools set exams at 11 or 13 that pupils must pass to move on.

Since 2012, Mr Andrew Noakes MA education, Open University (30s). Previously head of Northampton Junior School. Studied at Reed's, Surrey, then De Montfort, where he read European studies and French. He trained at St George’s College; has also been director of studies at Bedford Modern Junior School. Described as ‘calm and unflappable’, he is married to a teacher and has two daughters.

In recognition and support of those pupils with a specific learning difficulty a designated learning support teacher carries out initial screening and when necessary, arranges for further testing by a specialist. In the light of the report, the school discusses with the parents, suitable learning support provision and support strategies which are laid out in IEP.
