Special Education Needs

The Good Schools Guide writes: Frederick Holmes School caters for pupils with physical difficulties and secondary needs which include learning difficulties. There is a separate class for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties. An inter-disciplinary approach is used. The school has close links with mainstream schools and colleges, through school link programmes and the work of the Education Service for Physical Disability (ESPD) which is based at the school and aims to provide inclusion opportunities. Children come from a variety of LEAs including Kingston upon Hull, East Riding, North and North East Lincolnshire.
