Since September 2019, Malcolm Johnson, previously deputy head of Cheadle Hulme Junior School. Degree from Liverpool, PGCE from Chester; previously taught at Stockport Grammar School. A former member of the GB canoeing team who loves to be out in the Peak District hills as much as he enjoys watching musical theatre. Married to Fiona, who lectures at Manchester Metropolitan University and works as a sports product developer. Two primary aged children.


At age 3 into pre-school with some places held back for those who want reception entry. Entry is non-selective, on a first come, first served basis, with the only preference given to siblings. Places can and do become available later so always worth trying. There is also a day nursery on site and many children come from here.
