What the school says...
At Herington House School we support every child in our care so that they are able to grow in self-belief and develop their full potential, academically, socially and morally. The school has gained a reputation for high academic standards and this reputation is zealously guarded.
We seek to create a happy, secure and safe environment, priding ourselves on our ability to provide an individualised learning journey for pupils within our small class sizes. We foster a purposeful and nurturing environment where individuals are cherished and valued, and their success celebrated.
Our extensive extra-curricular programme includes after school clubs and sporting fixtures, visits to places of historical, cultural interest and an annual educational trip abroad for our older pupils.
Pupils leave Herington House having become self-confident, independent thinkers with inquiring minds ready for life’s challenges. Herington House School is guided by a well-defined philosophy that endorses a devotion to learning and a commitment to excellence.
We are proud of our School community, where diversity and differences are valued, respected and celebrated by all and contribute to the richness of school life.
