What says..

The school is on a cleverly-designed compact site with a reasonable sized playground and bronze award eco-garden on the first-floor terrace. Lots to occupy children at playtimes: table tennis, climbing wall, giant games of Connect Four and chess, and a nature garden with a water feature for those who just want to chill. Homework is a serious matter and everybody is expected to complete it; lots of help available for anyone who is not sure what to do, along with a free after-school homework club. Music and drama well embedded...

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.

Mr Brough (rhymes with ruff) was head of English at two boys' preps, deputy head of Bute House and finally head of City of London Girls' Prep before taking over at Hurlingham. Married to Harry, a leading ICT lawyer; they live in north London. Amicable, upbeat personality, he knows all the children by name and places a huge emphasis on happiness being central to everything that goes on in the school. Very popular with parents, staff and pupils, he teaches Latin and extension classes and is a much-appreciated supply teacher for all age groups when the class teachers are away.

One of those heads who takes an interest in everything going on around the school, be it new seeds for the garden...
