Since 2013, Mrs Hilary Phillips, mid 40s, who came from a London prep school where she had been director of pastoral care, head of French and PSHE and classics teacher. She has the professional appearance of a stylish London head who is used to the competitive south east prep school bear pit. She arrived to a caring and nurturing school, and she wanted to maintain these qualities but bring to it a bit more of the south east edginess.
