What the school says...
John Fergus School is a day school, which provides educational care for boys and girls with severe and complex learning difficulties throughout the age range 3 - 18 years.
The school aim is to seek to develop within each individual; those qualities, which best enable him to operate as effectively as possible in his own enviornment. The school upholds the principle that every person has the right to develop his abilities in his own way, to his own limits, as a whole person.
The School role is 16 with a capacity of about 24.
We have a school in which many small working areas have been created to provide a very varied and flexible curriculum. Children and young people enjoy educational programmes that are created for them as individuals, addressing their needs and building on their strengths to help them reach the highest level of acheivement. ...Read more
