Since 2008, Nick Seward BEng MA (early 50's). Educated at Millfield; degree in aerospace engineering from Imperial College and master’s in theology from Durham. He brings a powerful combination of strong Christian values, really positive energy and a love of intellectual curiosity to the school. Born in Zambia, his formative years were spent in Papua New Guinea where his father managed the national football team.

After work with the homeless in Blackburn and London and four years as a curate, he joined Magdalen College School in Oxford, where his roles included Chaplain, house master and head of theology.
