Since 2017, Andrew Trythall. His rather soulless, sparse office and his own initially inscrutable professionalism rapidly fade into insignificance as soon as he starts talking about the pupils at this school, when his warmth is palpable and his dedication to ensuring each and every child is happy during their time here is unquestionable and inspiring. As a father of four children, now mostly fledged, he lives by his mantra that ‘to learn you need first and foremost to be happy’ and he has dedicated his six years as head to ensuring the emotional wellbeing of his pupils. Parents were positive, describing him as calm, supportive and dedicated.
