What the school says...
Kirby Moor School is a specialist independent school for boys aged 10 - 18. With class sizes of 5 taught by qualified teachers and learning support assistants pupils benefit from highly individualised learning plans and approaches to teaching. A separate nurture wing for two classes is designed to support those who face greater learning challenges. These classes have the same lead teacher, more like a primary setting apart from art, science and P.E.
The school can have 40 on the roll as a maximum - 8 classes of 5. Facilities include: Science laboratory, Art Studio, ICT suite, subject specific class rooms, Assembly room, recreational areas, student support and excellent cross country and football teams. ...Read more
