Special Education Needs
The Good Schools Guide Writes: Lindsworth school is a community school providing day, extended day and residential education for pupils from eleven to sixteen years who have special educational needs. Pupils have moderate learning difficulties, social emotional and behavioural difficulties and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and all have statements of special educational needs. Judged by Ofsted to be 'a very effective school with some outstanding features' in 2002. The school is a major partner in an LEA initiative working towards integrated provision.
