Special Education Needs

The objectives of ESOL teaching at MPW are to help: ~ those of our students who are non-native speakers of English to understand and express their content knowledge of core subjects as competently as a native speaker. They should have a knowledge of English equivalent to 5.5 (IELTS) before starting at MPW. ~those same students to obtain a Band 7 in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System)Academic exam in order to meet the English Language entry requirements demanded by universities in the UK or overseas. Students with a mild learning difficulty will be welcomed and supported as long as they can cope with the academic demands of their chosen courses.
