Special Education Needs
Medina House is a community school providing for pupils from three to eleven years who have a range of special educational needs. The school is the only primary on the Isle of Wight for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties. Ofsted commented 'an effective school with some very good features' in 2004. The school has been working towards a 'needs driven model'. From September '06 all children were organised by need and development - each class providing a bespoke learning environment.
