What the school says...

A School that stands for every child

With an outstanding academic journey from 2 to 18, Meoncross, located on the south coast of Hampshire, is the co-educational independent school that makes learning come alive.

Our School of One ethos is for every pupil to realize their full potential, with individual learning and goals for each child, supported by academic mentors who monitor and guide pupil progress and achievement.

Our SIS Inspection in 2014 remarked on the quality of teaching and assessment as outstanding, and that pupils of all abilities make very good progress as they move through the school. This is borne out in our 2014 GCSE results, where 98% of our pupils achieved 5 A*-C grades including Maths and English.

Beach School is a unique and stimulating outdoor learning curriculum for our Lower School pupils. The Meoncross Passport inspires curious minds and enriches the educational journey. Our pupils are deeply involved in the local and wider community, from supporting the Rainbow Centre to helping senior citizens.

Mrs Ebery, Headmistress, is delighted to announce the launch of Meoncross Sixth Form in September 2015; a caring, challenging adult environment, where students can develop intellectually, socially and personally.

Meoncross is part of Cognita, a world leading international schools group.

What the parents say...

My two sons have been attending Meoncross for 8 years and have had an excellent grounding in the infant and junior schools. They are both now in the senior school and have thoroughly enjoyed their educational experience so far. Their academic progress in the senior school has been positive, with a remarkable increase in science and mathematics for my younger son who was doing well, but average in the junior school. My older son continues to achieve high grades (80% 90%) as do most of his peers who have journeyed up the school with him. It is a delight to see such high standards carefully balanced with great enjoyment of learning. The relationship between staff and pupils is comparable to a close and caring family where parents are involved and listened to. This results in less pressure and produces children who are happy to be in school learning.

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
