Headmaster
Since 2015, Sebastian Rees (40s), a prep school man through and through. After six years he took up the post of head of prep at Seaford College, before the headship at Northbourne beckoned. No plans to move on – this is ‘the dream job’. Married to Gillian, the head of the pre-prep here, with four grown-up children scattered hither and yon.

Special Education Needs
Northbourne Park has a well established learning support department providing for SpLDs such as dyslexia and dyspraxia; ADHD/ADD; and giving general support according to children's needs, to any prospective pupil who meets our selection criteria. We have a few children with social communication disorders such as Asperger's Syndrome, and have developed a 'school friendly' approach to their care. We consider each child as an individual and look to provide individual programmes.
