Special Education Needs

We have a resource base for Deaf and hearing impaired children. Each deaf child is treated as an individual,his/her needs are catered for accordingly. The school provides radio aids and soundfield systems within the classroom which are used in conjunction with the childs individual hearing aid. We work with a range of external agencies to support our children eg.educational psychologist, speech and language therapist, consultant audiological scientist. Each child is a member of a mainstream class, the support given is dependant upon the child's unique needs.
