The school is committed to providing: a high quality Catholic education, with a firm emphasis on Gospel values and pastoral care; good individual and team discipline; effective leadership at all levels; high academic achievement; and an Irish cultural identity through language, sport and music. Our Lady of Lourdes School achieved formal recognition as an Investor in People in June 2004. Year 8 admissions to the school increased notably in 2004-05 and 2005-06, despite fewer children leaving the contributory primary schools.
