Special Education Needs

Pond Meadow is a community special school providing for pupils from two to nineteen years who have a range of special educational needs. Pupils may have severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties or autistic spectrum disorders. The school is on two sites with the secondary department sharing a site with the mainstream secondary school. There is a specialist nursery for children with autism. Ofsted said 'an inclusive school that provides an excellent education' 2006.
