All-through school (for example 3-18 years). - An all-through school covers junior and senior education. It may start at 3 or 4, or later, and continue through to 16 or 18. Some all-through schools set exams at 11 or 13 that pupils must pass to move on.

Since 2011, Sue Piper. Originally from the Midlands, Piper studied psychology at Portsmouth University and has specialised in autism for more than 20 years, joining Prior’s Court as a teacher in 2001. Keen for Prior’s Court to remain a leading edge facility for young people with autism, she has travelled to the US to visit groundbreaking schools and to present at the international TEACCH conference. Sue is collaborating on a research project with schools in Norway, and is also working with Jersey Autism on an arts project. A TEACCH trainer at advanced consultant level, she is also part of the South and West Association of Leaders of Special Schools (SWALSS) and the London Pan-Autism group.
