RGS Prep is a thriving prep school for boys aged 3-11 situated in the residential heart of Guildford. Step through our doors and you will feel the energy and warmth that fill the school.

We have an impressive record of academic success, with boys regularly achieving scholarships to their chosen senior school. This academic strength is complemented by a wide range of sporting, music, drama and other creative activities and we are proud to be the Choir school for Guildford Cathedral. Learning takes place not only within school, but during a wide variety of trips and enrichment activities throughout the year, including our many joint activities with local girls’ schools.

The happiness and wellbeing of our pupils is our priority, and our pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do. Our nurturing and supportive environment encourages self-confidence, emotional intelligence and critical thinking. Everyone joining RGS Prep has their own unique personality, interests, characteristics and talents. We celebrate, nurture and develop these in every individual and love nothing more than to see them thrive personally and intellectually.
