At 11+ results are impressive, with healthy numbers of scholarships (a record 36 in 2024). In reception, a few little people had made a detour via the dressing up box and we were enchanted to see a dragon, a princess and a flamenco dancer. Year 3 were practising a catchy (somewhat graphic) song about Anubis and mummification for an imminent assembly on the ancient Egyptians. Since 2023, Graeme McCafferty, after a period as acting head following the recent merger with St Dunstan’s College and the departure of his predecessor. ‘A breath of fresh air’, he ‘stepped into the breach’ and set to work.
