What the school says...
Seaton House School is consistently ranked in the top 5 of the Sunday Times Top 100 Prep Schools in England* and was Prep School of the Year in 2018/2019. Currently we are ranked as Number 2.
ISI in its Educational Quality report judged the school to be "Excellent In All Areas".
The school provides all children with an excellent start to their learning journey and girls consistently gain both academic and scholarship success at both grammar and local independent schools.
Small class sizes ensure that every pupil is known as an individual and supported to ensure that they make the most of their gifts and talents. Alongside excellent academic teaching, the girls have opportunities to develop their artistic, musical, dramatic and sporting abilities. There are specialist teachers for almost all subjects to ensure that the girls receive the very best education in every area of the curriculum. The girls also compete in a range of events including the ISA Young Musician of the Year and various ISA Sporting competitions. In school we have a choir, orchestra, drama groups and sports teams as well as a range of lunchtime and after school clubs which include fencing, chess, science, musical theatre, ballet and gymnastics.
Seaton House is a school where academic excellence flourishes and individual talents are nurtured. A unique, friendly school with much to offer to the girls who join us. ...Read more
