Special Education Needs
Shenley is an inclusive school. Equality of opportunity is a reality for our children. We take account of pupil's varied life experiences and needs. We offer a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum which aims for all children to achieve their full potential. Shenley primary school is committed to providing an environment that allows children with disabilities full access to all areas of learning. The school has specialist advice and support from Hertfordshire County services. We also value the knowledge, views and first hand experience parents have regarding their children. We seek to work in partnership with parents and the wider community.

If there are more applicants to a school than it has places for, who gets in is determined by which applicants best fulfil the admissions criteria.

The best source of information is usually the relevant local authority website, but once you have set your sights on a school it is a good idea to ask them how they see things panning out for the year that you are interested in.
Many schools admit children based on distance from the school or a fixed catchment area.
