Southbank International School is London's leading IB World school. It was founded in 1979 by a group of educators in order to provide an inspiring and challenging academic environment for students from around the world, aged 2 to 19. There are three campuses with Hampstead and Kensington teaching the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) to 2-11 year olds and the Southbank Westminster campus offering the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for 11-16 year olds at Southbank's Portland Place site, and the IB Diploma Programme for 16-18/19 year olds at sites on Conway Street and Cleveland Street. The Southbank International School Westminster campuses educate students who are on track to gain the IB Diploma. A qualified learning support teacher is available to provide assistance and guidance, however only minimal specific learning difficulties can be supported due to the demanding nature of the programme.
