Special Education Needs

At Springhallow School we aim to give every child equality of opportunity through a broad and balanced curriculum, designed to meet their special needs. Our school caters for pupils with autistic spectrum or communication disorders relating to autism. All our pupils have an impairment in social, language and communication, thought and behaviour. We seek to: develop a positive and independent approach to learning; provide a relevant and stimulating programme which enables every child to reach their full potential; provide a safe and friendly environment which allows the development of the individual; develop social and communication skills; and value other people and their thoughts and ideas.
