Special Education Needs
St Christopher's School does not specialise in SEN provision but when one of our pupils is diagnosed as suffering from one need or another we make a decision based upon the individual. If a child is diagnosed as having such severe difficulties that we feel unable to provide for him properly, we will give his/her parents every assistance in finding an alternative and suitable school. If we feel we can provide adequate provision, we do so. The past 5 years have seen statemented childen amply provided for within St Christopher's with the assistance of both the Brent and Hertfordshire education authorities. The school does not provide a specialist SEN unit. We do have teachers qualified in various areas and have systems in place for the provision of additional specialist professional assistance.
