What the school says...
St Gabriel’s is a co-educational day school, where pupils excel and reach their true potential through a balanced and inspiring education, which combines academic rigour, breadth of opportunity and a strong sense of community. As a school, our responsibility is to provide each pupil with the right combination of opportunities and challenges to create a pathway for academic success while at the same time unlocking and developing the talents of each individual pupil to give them the confidence and self-belief to pursue their ambitions.
In September 2022, we welcomed boys into Year 7 of the Senior School. The Sixth Form, alongside Year 9, will accept boys from September 2024. This incremental approach will ensure a measured and smooth transition to a fully co-educational school in 2026.
Examinations are seen as a pathway to achieving personal goals and our academic team encourage, motivate, and support all our pupils to pursue their aspirations. The school has an excellent academic record with examination results at both A Level and GCSE being consistently high. In 2023, 36% of GCSE results were grade 9–7 and 42% of A Level grades were A*– A. St Gabriel’s is proud of its students’ achievements and it is not surprising that they go on to study a wide and diverse range of courses at their chosen universities. ...Read more
