What says..

Benedictine sense of togetherness and ‘anti-me’ culture encourages compassion and understanding. The integrity of a boarding mix is guarded fiercely here to create a real sense of school community. School day ends at 5.35pm for all; a longish day but includes prep time and plenty of extracurricular activities. Boarders come from all over UK; southern pupils catch a Hogwarts Express at the beginning of term: it is (just) possible to enjoy breakfast in London and lunch in school. What the school says...

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.

Special Education Needs

St. Martin's Ampleforth seeks to be inclusive as far as it is possible. The school is located in a Grade One listed Castle so physical disabilities would be difficult to accommodate comfortably. We cater for a range of educational and behavioural needs at the milder end of the spectrum. If we feel that a child can take as full a part as possible in our curriculum, and benefit from it, then we will consider them for a place. Nov 09.
