Head of 6th form

Since September 2017, Naomi Atkins. After teaching economics in Malvern, joined the Perse School for Girls in 2002 as a senior leadership team member. Then spent 10 years in China, Indonesia and Malaysia in roles including IB co-ordinator, deputy head academic and head of senior school. Returned to Cambridge and the Stephen Person Foundation in 2015.

Academic matters

Offers both A levels and IB, 60:40 split, and results are impressive. IB average score was 40 in 2017, achieving the dizzy heights of 42 recently, being the equal top school in the world. At A level in 2017 63 per cent of grades were A*-A, 87 per cent A*-B. A wide choice of subjects, but only academic. No media studies or food tech here. Maths and sciences popular but good to see high uptake...
