Head

Since 2021, Jacqueline Paris, who first joined the Stephen Perse Foundation in 2005 as head of chemistry then became head of IB. Following her education in Yorkshire and degree from Leeds, she worked in both forensic science and retail management, discovering her love of teaching following a PGCE at the Sheffield in 1991. Has taught in a range of schools and colleges including Hitchin Girls’ School where she was also a governor. In 2016, she was commissioned by Cambridge University Press to produce a workbook to support the IB Diploma chemistry syllabus; she is currently working on the second edition.
