Established in 1920 and set within 55 acres of stunning Buckinghamshire countryside, Swanbourne House School is a Preparatory School with a difference and one you should come and experience before making such a crucial decision for your young child’s education.

We aim to be a dynamic, diverse and forward thinking school offering an exemplary service in teaching and learning. Our pupils grow to understand the discipline of study as we ignite the fire for a lifelong love of learning, personal development and reflection. We aspire to develop well-rounded pupils, who rise to mental and physical challenge with optimism, open and enquiring minds, confidence and empathy. It is noteworthy that a significant and not co-incidental number of Old Swanbournians have gone on to be School Captains, Prefects and Sports Captains at their senior schools. They are well-grounded, well-mannered, emotionally intelligent and go on to become highly attractive candidates for the top universities and for future employers.
