In the classrooms, we observed fun, interactive lessons and the teachers clearly know their pupil’s strengths and weaknesses. ‘It’s been fantastic for my girls and I couldn’t fault it,’ one parent told us. The atmosphere on the day of our visit was buzzy, with pupils practicing instruments at one end of the corridor, and a class enthusiastically reading through their parts for a production of Charlie and the Chocolate factory at the other. We certainly heard no complaints about the teachers, with parents commenting that they are ‘fantastic practitioners’ who are ‘incredibly committed’ and ‘throw themselves into school life’. Since September 2020, Simon Kibler BA (Leicester) (40s). Twinkly eyed, warm and with a zest for life.
