What the school says...

Sybil Elgar School is an independent day and residential school for children and young adults on the autism spectrum, including Asperger syndrome. Students are within the age range of 11 - 19. Sybil Elgar School is run by the National Autistic Society and has a national catchment area.

Since 1994, Ms Chloe Phillips MSEN DipEd DipManagement. Previous experience includes teaching primary-aged pupils, some of whom were emotionally vulnerable. Clearly relishes her position: ‘I love being head teacher here. I feel so privileged. There is always a project on the go.’ She has a great sense of vision for her school, constantly seeking better provision for these pupils. Passionate about all things to do with autism: ‘We are all on a journey. We feel we learn more from the students, than they do from us.
