What the school says...

The National Mathematics and Science College ('NMSC') is a selective STEM 6th form college that prepares students for successful entry to -and success at- top Russell Group Universities (including Cambridge and Oxford) and other leading universities world wide.

100% students achieved A*-A in Mathematics A level (2017, 2018)
100% students achieved A*-A in Further mathematics GCSE (2017,2018)
90% students achieved grades A*-B across all subjects (2018)

NMSC is a keen participant in national and international Olympiads. Here are just two examples:
In 2017, a stunning three-quarters of NMSC’s A Level maths cohort gained certificates of distinction in the EUCLID International mathematics contest, an award given only to the top 25ndidates. All NMSC’s students who entered the competition did brilliantly well enabling the College to be placed 71st and in the top 15% of the 484 participating international schools.
In 2018, NMSC entered 16 students into the Chemistry Olympiad and they produced a stellar performance, as all ranked in the top 25% of 7966 entries in the UK. In fact, four NMSC students were ranked in the top 50 in the country.

Independent schools frequently offer IGCSEs or other qualifications alongside or as an alternative to GCSE. The DfE does not record performance data for these exams so independent school GCSE data is frequently misleading; parents should check the results with the schools.
