Headmistress
Since 2012, Jo Ebner BEd MA PG Dip Couns Cert FT NPQH (late 40s), previously head of the Royal School, Hampstead (now North Bridge House). Educated at North London Collegiate (her mother and her daughters were at the school too) and Homerton, Cambridge. Trained at the Tavistock Clinic as a school counsellor. Highly emotionally intelligent with a self-deprecating sense of humour and an honest, open manner. Three children in their 20s and golden retriever puppy, Lola (‘a handful’), with whom she shares her office.
First teaching job was at Primrose Hill Primary School. Established South Hampstead High School’s counselling service in the 90s, taught at Naima Jewish Preparatory School and the North West London Jewish Day School as well as a successful stint as deputy head of The Hall in Hampstead....

Special Education Needs
The school has a full-time SENCo who works with teachers to identify pupils with special needs. As well as in-house support, the school has a link with the Dyslexia Centre which provides therapists for a variety of conditions. June 2010
