What the school says...

Tockington Manor School is an independent co-educational Preparatoryschool set in 28 acres of lovely countryside in the picturesque village of Tockington, in the south west of England. Pupils are welcomed from age 2 to 14 with boarding available from age 7.

We pride ourselves in delivering a varied timetable in small classes geared to the needs of each pupil but with emphasis on the core subjects of English, mathematics and science. We aim to provide anenvironment that is positive, supportive and disciplined within a warm, caring, family atmosphere. Pupils are encouraged to be confident, considerate and accomplished free thinkers.

The boarding house has a real family atmosphere and aims to provide a caring environment which promotes the values of honesty, sharing and trust between the children. The accommodation we provide is comfortable for all to share in but still provides the privacy that they need at times. The boarders are well catered for with exciting activities planned for every weekend. They also have the opportunity to go for a swim in our own indoor swimming pool, have time to relax, watch DVDs, ring home and spend time with their friends. During the week there are various evening activities for which the day children may also stay. These include judo, ballet, touch rugby, archery, crafts and drama. A discount of 15% is offered to Forces families - full details are available from the bursar.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family.

What the parents say...

3 children from our family went to that school over the past 10 years, in the mean time there as been a change of Head : the school was already a very caring school , it is now a school of excellency small classes, passionate teachers who make what they teach so exciting, (including Latin !) fantastic sports and a music department who is rebuilding it self the last child of the family who is going there is a boarder and he loves boarding so much that he is very reluctant to come back home during weekends staff are always aware of the children needs and communication with the school is impressive the school is firmly going towards new technologies and its monitored access

Thank the school

Parents and pupils often have cause to acknowledge the help and support they have received from their schools, for example in helping in the choice of further education or careers. "Say thank you" allows you to send a quick note of appreciation to the school in general or to an individual teacher.

This is a thank you to your school, teacher or careers adviser who helped you to get where you are now.

Please fill in the fields below, which we will transform into a letter of thanks from you to them.

Leave blank if you want to thank the school as a whole

Years you were there

Can be left blank but, if you can, think of a few words that will bring a smile.
